HOFF <br />DIRECTOR OF PLANNING <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />July 11, 1960 <br />The attached petition of Irene Stanz and the North Side <br />Lumber Company, Inc. to rezone the property generally <br />described as having a 177 foot frontage on Jefferson <br />Boulevard and 148 foot frontage on Thirty- Second Street <br />from "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District <br />to "B" Residential Use and "C" Height and Area District <br />was legally advertised under date of June 25, 1960 and <br />given public hearing on July 7, 1960. The following <br />action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that <br />the proposed zoning would result in spot zoning. <br />It was therefore duly moved, seconded and unani- <br />mously carried that the petition be recommended <br />unfavorably to the Common Council. <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Howard Bellinger, <br />Assistant Planning Director <br />HB/mah <br />Attach. <br />
