.0 n= <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4,M-60 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 <br />ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL CF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND ON THE 14th DAY OF JUNE, <br />1949, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF the Civil City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3702,adopted by this <br />Common Council upon the 14th day of June, 1949, more commonly <br />known as the zoning ordinance, be amended by rezoning of a <br />certain parcel of land located in the City of South Bend, St. <br />Joseph County, State of Indiana, known and described as follows, <br />towit: <br />"A part of the North half (z) of the South East <br />Quarter (_) of Section No. 8, Township No. 37 North, <br />Range No. 3 East, which part is bounded by a line <br />running as follows, towit: <br />Beginning at a point 1354.4 feet West and 62.5 feet <br />South of the North East corner of the South East Quarter <br />CD of Section No. 8; thence South 275 feet; thence <br />West parallel with the North line of said quarter <br />Section 188.32 feet; thence North 93 feet; thence <br />East 10 feet; thence North 182 feet to the South line <br />of Jefferson Blvd., in the City of South Bend, and <br />thence East along the South line of Jefferson Blvd. <br />177.07 feet to the place of beginning, also <br />A lot or parcel of land in the North half of the <br />South East Quarter of Section No.. 8, Township No. <br />37 North, Range No. 3 East, which part is bounded <br />by a line running as follows, viz: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the East line of <br />Thirty - Second Street in the City of South Bend, with <br />the North line of the right -of -way of the Grand <br />Trunk and Western Railroad Company thence running <br />East along the North line of said right -of -way a <br />distance of 454.15 feet to the South West corner of <br />Lot numbered 18 as shown on the recorded Plat of <br />Jerome First Addition to the City of South Bend, <br />thence North on the West line of said Addition a <br />distance of 189.18 feet, more or less, to the South <br />West corner of Lot Numbered 7 in said Jerome First <br />Addition; thence West 336.92 feet to a point 120 <br />- 1 - <br />
