I <br />4AIM <br />ORDINANCE NO. 429VA -60 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE. THE NAME OF PALACE <br />THEATRE TO MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM. <br />WHEREAS, the E. M. Morris Foundation, Inc., heretofore <br />gave to the Civil City of South Bend the property known as the Palace Theatre <br />to be used by the City for exclusively public purposes, to provide the residents <br />of South Bend and the surrounding territory an auditorium for lectures, <br />legitimate theater presentations, symphony concerts and other civic and <br />educational purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, it is now the. desire that said property be known as <br />the Morris Civic Auditorium. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'S ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend: <br />SECTION I. That the name Palace Theatre be and is hereby changed to Morris <br />Civic Auditorium. <br />SECTION II.
