The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend. <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the Common Council to rezone the <br />property being described as beginning at the northeast <br />corner of Bendix Drive and Ardmore Trail, thence north <br />along the east right -of -way line of Bendix Drive for a <br />distance of 218 feet, more or less, thence southeast <br />parallel with the south right -of -way line of Lincoln Way <br />West for a distance of 310 feet, more or less, to a <br />point on the north right -of -way line of Ardmore Trail, <br />thence southwest along the north right -of -way line of <br />Ardmore Trail to the point of beginning from "B" Residen- <br />tial Use and "A" Height and Area District to "C" Commer- <br />cial Use and I'D'.' Height and Area District was legally <br />advertised under date of September 25, 1961 and given <br />public hearing on October 5, 1961. The following action <br />was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found: <br />1• That the land in question is the south one -half <br />of a triangular shaped lot the north one -half of <br />which is used and zoned commercially. <br />2. That the land in question is vacant and. always has <br />been. <br />3.
