HUFF DIRECTOR OF PLANNING The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: March 11, 1960 The attached petition of Bendix Aviation Corporation to rezone Lots No. 125, 126 and 127 in Part of Kaleys 2nd Subdivision in the City of South Bend, Indiana, from a "B" Residential Use District and an "A" Height and Area District to a "D" Light Industrial Use District and a "F" Height and Area District; Lots No. 82, 83, and 84 in Kaleys 1st Subdivision in the City of South Bend, Indiana from "C" Commercial Use District and "D" Height and Area District to "D" Light Industrial Use District and "F" Height and Area District; that part of Kaley Street north of Kenwood and south of Bertrand Street which was vacated by a previous petition, from "no" zoning to "D" Light Industrial Use District and "F" Height and Area District; the vacated portion of an east and west alley lying between Lots 125, 126 and 127 in Part of Kaleys 2nd Subdivision and Lots 82, 83, and 84 in Kaleys 1st Sub- division, running from the vacated portion of Kaley Street east to the first north and south alley west of Meade Street, all in the City of South Bend, Indiana, from "no" zoning to a "D" Light Industrial Use and a "F" Height and Area District was legally advertised on February 29, 1960 and given public hearing under date of March 10, 1960.
