Split links used for connection of chains shall be of standard design <br />and shall have a breaking strength at least equivalent to that of the phain <br />or cable to which they are attached. <br />11. All chains or cables, turnbuckles, split links, bolts and screws, and <br />all other devices which support or form a part of the support of a sign <br />shall be galvanized or otherwise suitably protected from corrosion in some <br />approved manner. <br />12. Where necessary to use a saddle for the fastening of a building iron, <br />rigid construction shall be used. Chains or cables will not be approved. <br />13.
