PETITION TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA <br />TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />The undersigned hereby petition your Honorable Body to <br />annex to and bring within the City of South Bend, Indiana the <br />following described property in St. Joseph County, State of <br />Indiana, which is contiguous to lands now within such City: <br />Beginning at the Northwest corner of the North half <br />of the Southwest quarter which point is also the West <br />one - quarter section corner of Section 30, Township 37 <br />North, Range 3 East; thence East 3940 feet more or less <br />along the North line of the North half of the South half <br />of said Section 30; thence'South 1322 feet more or less <br />along the East line of the Northwest one - quarter of the <br />Southeast one - quarter to the South line of the North <br />half of the South half of said Section 30; thence <br />Westerly 3928 feet more or less along the said South <br />line of the North half of the South half and to the <br />West line of said Section 30; thence North 1317 feet <br />more or less to place of beginning, containing 119.22 <br />acres more or less. <br />The undersigned constitute all the owners of the above de- <br />scribed property which is requested to be annexed. <br />There accompanies this petition a proposed Ordinance annex- <br />ing the above described property to the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />Dated this �0tj, day of �]� yy�L�f1✓ , 1959. <br />-y� u` °`O'" �O1' ( PLACE AND 'COMPANY, INC. <br />eo ge Eldon S'riai r � <br />By c4i 'S <br />�7ci�nda�Shafer ( - Andrew S.
