HUFF <br />DIRECTOR OF PLANNING <br />Councilman Chester Muszynski <br />1225 Grace Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Dear Councilman Muszynski: <br />November 6, 1959 <br />Would you at the next Council meeting move to :amend an <br />ordinance annexing 107 acres to the City of South Bend <br />that the Planning Commission considered under date of <br />November 5, 1959 by attaching the following conditions <br />to the adoption of the ordinance. The attachment of <br />these conditions is authorized under the authority of <br />Chapter 269, Acts of General Assembly, 1955. <br />1. That a parcel of land between 4 and 5 acres in <br />arga be reserved for a period of time not to exceed <br />years for acquisition through purchase by or <br />gift to the City of South Bend. <br />2. That the location of said land be subject to the <br />approval of the Board of Park Commissioners. <br />3. That said land if not dedicated to the City of <br />South Bend be sold to the City at the average cost <br />per acre to the developer at qthe time of the <br />developer's purchase.
