The next Bill No. 29 -14, was initiated by the Administration and presented by City Controller John <br />Murphy. John said for some time the City had accepted payment of bills, fees and fines by credit and <br />debit cards both on -line and in person. This bill would expand that practice resulting in more <br />convenience for citizens. <br />Dr. Varner asked if dollars collected by various departments stayed in their respective budgets. John <br />said indeed those collections did. <br />Oliver Davis urged John to expand the practice to the building department. <br />A favorable recommendation supported by all followed motions by Derek Dieter and Dr. Varner. <br />Valerie Schey adjourned the meeting at 4:24 P.M. <br />Re ect "Y Submitted, <br />rie Schey, Chairperson <br />Personnel & Finance Committee <br />
