ORDINANCE NO, 4-316--60 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CONTRACT BE- <br />TWEEN THE CITY WATERWORKS OF SOUTH BEND <br />AND THE LAYNE- NORTHERN COMPANY, INC., for <br />THE PURCHASE OF A THIRTY -TWO INCH GRAVEL <br />PACKED WELL AT THE NORTH STATION FOR THE <br />SUM OF $19, 360. 00. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I, That the contract entered into on the 18th day of April, 1960, <br />between the City Water Works of South Bend and The Layne- Northern Company, <br />Inc. , for the construction of a thirty -two inch gravel packed well at The North <br />Station for the sum of Nineteen Thousand Three Hundred Sixty ($19, 360. 00) <br />Dollars is hereby approved and confirmed as provided for in Chapter 116 of the <br />Acts of the Indiana General Assembly for the year 1905 and amended under <br />Chapter 16 of the Acts of the Indiaza General Assembly for the year 1923. <br />SECTION II, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br />MMeirnbe f the Common Counclil <br />t( /6 d <br />P",' �/ b/60 <br />
