ORDINANCE NO. 7 ✓ 9( _(/ <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS <br />IN THE FIRE EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE <br />FUND, $18, 205. 00 <br />WHEREAS: Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the <br />adoption of the existing budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate <br />more money than was appropriated in the budget for the various functions <br />of City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies: <br />SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that for the expenses of the <br />City Government and its institutions for the year ending <br />December 31, 1961, the following sums of money are <br />hereby appropriated and set apart out of the several <br />funds herein named and for the purposes herein speci- <br />fied, subject to the laws governing the same, and such <br />sums herein appropriated shall be held to include all <br />expenditures authorized to be made during the year, <br />unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by <br />law. <br />SECTION II. That for said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated out <br />of the various City funds hereinafter named, the following <br />specified amounts to meet such extraordinary emergencies, <br />as follows: <br />FIRE EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE FUND <br />Fire Equipment and <br />Maintenance Fund <br />$18,205.00 <br />SECTION III.
