e II.50 <br />CITY CT 9601 JOJ <br />FREOk 6: ti6tlk €, e6cHk <br />ORDINANCE NO.. <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS <br />IN FIRE DEPARTMENT $1, 200. 00 AND CONTROLLER'S <br />OFFICE $700. 00 <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption <br />of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more <br />money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of <br />city government to meet such extraordinary emergencies: <br />SECTION I, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend,. Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government <br />and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1960, <br />the following sums of money are hereby, appropriated and set <br />apart out of the several funds herein named and for the pur- <br />poses herein specified, subject to the laws governing the <br />same, and such sums herein appropriated shall beheld to <br />include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, <br />unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by law. <br />SECTION 14 That for said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated out of <br />the various city funds hereinafter named, the following speci- <br />fied amount to meet such extraordinary emergencies, as <br />follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Fire Department <br />Account Q -333 - Tires and Tubes $1,200.00 <br />Controller's Office <br />Account B -241 - Advertising and Publication <br />of Notices 700.00 <br />SECTION III, WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations <br />now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the <br />purposes herein for which appropriated, it is therefore, further <br />ordained by the aforesaid Common Council that such unnecessary <br />existing appropriations are now reduced in amounts as follows: <br />681 & 2nd RE ^a1raS EC ION IV.' <br />37A ?/Z <br />C"ORYITTEE OF THE V11­10LE <br />PUBLIC F+FARIPdG glhl/ , <br />3rd REAIVIG <br />RFFEnIILu <br />PASSLU�'� <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Fire Department <br />Account Q -11 - Services Personal <br />$1,200.00 <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor <br />and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency <br />appropriations. <br />Member of the Common Council <br />
