ORDINANCE NO.��'�� <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CONTROLLER IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $7,106.92 FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1960 <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the <br />adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to <br />appropriate more money.than was appropriated in the annual budget for <br />the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary <br />emergencies: <br />SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend; Indiana, that for the expenses of the City <br />Government and its institutions for the year ending <br />December 31, 1960, the following sums of money are <br />hereby appropriated and set apart out of the several funds <br />herein named and for the purposes herein specified, sub- <br />ject to the laws governing the same, and such sums <br />herein appropriated shall be held to include all expend- <br />itures authorized to be made during the year, unless <br />otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by-law, <br />SECTION H. That for said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated <br />out of the various city funds hereinafter named, the <br />following specified amounts to meet such extraordinary <br />emergencies, as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Office of the Controller <br />Acct. B-241 Advertising and Publication of Notices $ 500.00 <br />Acct. B -59 - Social Security 6,606.92 <br />Total Office of the Controller $7,106.92 <br />GRAND TOTAL $7, 106. 92 <br />SECTION III.
