Beginning on the West line of Laurel Street in the <br />City of South Bend, at a point 254 feet South and <br />20 feet West of the intersection of the East line <br />of Bank Out Lot Numbered 91 with the Southerly <br />right of way line of the Grand Trunk Western Rail- <br />road Company; thence West along the North line of <br />said Reynolds Sub- division (now vacated), a <br />distance of 326.5 feet to the West line of said <br />Bank Out Lot Numbered 91; thence South along said <br />line to the Northerly line of the right of way of <br />the New York Central Railroad as established by a <br />Deed to said Railroad in Deed Record 216, pages <br />608 -9, thence Southeasterly along the North line <br />of said right of way to a point on the West line <br />of Laurel Street 637.7 feet South of the South line <br />of Western Avenue; thence North along the West <br />line of Laurel Street, 357.3 feet, more or less, to <br />the place of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana be requested to appoint three (3) disinterested freeholders of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana to appraise the above described real estate. <br />Section 3. That the Mayor of the City of South Bend be and he is <br />hereby authorized, empowered and directed to sell and convey on behalf <br />of the City of South Bend, the above described real estate free and clear <br />of ali liens and encumbrances for an amount not less than the appraised <br />value of said real estate as determined by the appraisers appointed by <br />the Judge of said Court. <br />Section 4. That, upon receipt of the purchase price, said real estate <br />shall be conveyed to the purchaser by a deed executed by the Mayor, in the <br />name of the City, attested by the City Clerk and with the seal of the City <br />affixed thereto; that said deed shall be in form sufficient to convey the <br />fee simple title of said real estate of the purchaser and shall contain <br />covenants of the City that it has not made, done, committed or suffered any <br />act or acts whereby said real estate or any part thereof may be impeached, <br />charged, or encumbered. <br />Section 5.
