NOULZ <br />CITY ECCRK - S94THE} NM IND. <br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE <br />CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section 1 <br />That the following described property in St. Joseph <br />County, State of Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought <br />within the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the <br />south half of the southeast one - quarter of Section 32, <br />T38N7 R3E, and the centerline of Hickory Road, which <br />point is on the present city limits, thence south along <br />the centerline of Hickory Road a distance of 639.7 feet <br />more or less, to the north right -of -way line of Bulla <br />Street extended east, thence west along the north right- <br />of -way line of Bulla Street a distance of 595 feet, <br />more or less, to the west line of Edison Road Addition, <br />also the present city limits, thence north along the <br />present city limits a distance of 639.7 feet, more or <br />less, to the north line of the south half of the south- <br />east one - quarter of said Section 32, thence east along <br />the north line of the south half of the southeast one- <br />quarter of said Section 32 to the place of beginning, <br />containing 8.7 acres, more or less. <br />Section 2• <br />That no Building Permit shall be issued by the Building <br />Commissioner and no change in use or bulk of structures existing <br />shall occur in any territory hereafter annexed to the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana until such territory has been zoned by <br />the City Council or a period of 180 days from the effective <br />date of the annexation has lapsed. <br />Section 3• <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal <br />publication. <br />18162nd READ!
