°,b? <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />^P AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE <br />CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section 1: <br />That the following described property in St. Joseph <br />County, State of Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought <br />within the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Beginning at a point on the south right of way line <br />of Roosevelt Street 194 feet more or less east of <br />the west section line of Section 32, T38N, R3E, <br />which point is also on the present city limits, <br />thence north a distance of 50 feet more or less to <br />the north right of way line of Roosevelt Street, <br />thence east along the north right of way line of <br />Roosevelt Street a distance of 366 feet more or <br />less to the southwest corner of Lot 154 of part of <br />Maple Lane Sub, thence north a distance of 625 <br />feet more or less to the southerly right of way <br />line of South Bend Avenue (Indiana 23), thence <br />southwesterly along the southerly right of way line <br />of South Bend Avenue (Indiana 23) to the inter- <br />section of the southerly right of way line of South Bend <br />Avenue (Indiana 23) and the west right of way line <br />of Ironwood Road, the present city limits, thence <br />south and east .along the present city limits, to <br />the place of beginning;.containing 6.6 acres more or <br />less. <br />Section 2: <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and <br />legal publication. <br />A Member of the Common/ oun'qI <br />IL <br />of the City of South Ben India <br />Ist 9 2n_4 f,64D!
