<br />`S <V 4V AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE
<br />LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS
<br />IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,

<br />^INDIANA:
<br />Section 1•
<br />That the following described property in St. Joseph
<br />County, State of Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought
<br />within the City of South Bend, Indiana:
<br />Beginning at a point in the Southwest One
<br />Quarter of Section 27, T38N, R2E, at the in-
<br />tersection of the present city limits and the
<br />centerline of Lathrop Street, which centerline
<br />is also the south line of the Southwest One
<br />Quarter of said Section 27, thence west along
<br />the centerline of Lathrop Street a distance
<br />of 1,987 feet, more or less, to the east rights
<br />of -way line of Maple Road, thence north along
<br />the east right -of -way line of Maple Road a
<br />distance of 2,661 feet, more or less, to the
<br />north line of the Southwest One Quarter of
<br />said Section 27, thence east along the north
<br />line of the Southwest One Quarter of said
<br />Section 27 a distance of 1,407 feet, more or
<br />less, to the present city limits, thence south
<br />along the present city limits a distance of
<br />680 feet, more or less, thence east along the
<br />present city limits a distance of 580 feet,
<br />more or less, thence south along the present
<br />city limits a distance of 2,081 feet, more or
<br />less, to the place of beginning, containing
<br />114 acres, more or less.
<br />Section 2:
<br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
<br />after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publica-
