OF M N'111 <br />Under date of June 14, 1962 the South Bend City Planning <br />Commission took the following action relative to the <br />proper zoning for the recently annexed land being <br />generally described as a parcel of land on the west side <br />of Ironwood Road 662 feet north and south by 290 feet <br />east and west and lying 620 feet north of Edison Road; <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that due to the topography of the general <br />area and the concurrent cost of filling, <br />residential construction would be precluded <br />and. that only commercial enterprise could <br />justify said. cost of fill. The Commission <br />also noted that the land immdiately to the <br />east, to the north, and particularly to the <br />south of subject area is zoned "C" Commercial. <br />It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and <br />unanimously carried that said area be recom- <br />mended to be zoned "C" Commercial Use. <br />Very truly yours, <br />io COMMISSION <br />o ert L, Huff, i <br />Director of Planning,'(/ <br />RLH /mah <br />
