RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROVING ISSUANCE OF BONDS <br />OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission ") has <br />adopted a resolution (the form of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A) authorizing the issuance <br />of bonds of the South Bend Redevelopment District (the "District ") in an aggregate principal <br />amount not to exceed $3,700,000 (the "Bonds "), to provide funds to pay for all or a portion of <br />the costs of refunding those certain South Bend Redevelopment District Special Taxing District <br />Bonds of 2002 (the "Refunding "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "City ") now <br />desires to approve the issuance of the Bonds as required under Indiana Code 6- 1.1 -17 -20.5 and <br />Indiana Code 36- 7- 14- 25.1(p); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The Common Council hereby approves of the issuance of the Bonds of the <br />District to finance the Refunding, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $3,700,000, <br />pursuant to Indiana Code 6- 1.1 -17 -20.5 and Indiana Code 36- 7- 14- 25.1(p). <br />SECTION 2.
