ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 22 OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 3709 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That Chapter 2, Section 22 of the General Ordinance No. 3709 is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 22. Regular meetings; calling of council to order. The regular meetings of the common council shall be held at the council chamber on the second and fourth Monday evenings of each month at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., Central Daylight Time. At the hour named, the President shall call the common council to order, and if he be absent, the Vice - President shall act in his stead. If the latter be absent, any member of the common council may, upon motion, be called to the chair, and shall act as presiding officer only until the arrival of one entitled to preside. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating thereto.
