ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN <br />THE OFFICE OF THE CONTROLLER AND THE SOUTH <br />BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT FUND - $1,200. 00 <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption <br />of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more <br />money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of <br />City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies: <br />SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Govern- <br />ment and its institutions for the year ending December 31, <br />1962, the following sums of money are hereby appropriated <br />and set apart out of the several funds herein named and for <br />the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing <br />the same, and such sums herein appropriated shall be held <br />to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the <br />year, unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by <br />law. <br />SECTION II. That for said fiscal year, there is hereby appropriated out <br />of the various City funds hereinafter named, the following <br />specified amount to meet such extraordinary emergencies, <br />as follows: <br />OFFICE OF THE CONTROLLER and POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />FUND <br />Account No. B -242 - Publication of Legal Notices $400.00 <br />Account No. P -243 - Photographing and Blue Printing 500.00 <br />Account No. P -726 -A - Other Equipment (Mayors <br />Citizens Committee) 300.00 <br />$1,200.00 <br />SECTION III.
