OCT 6 191 PM <br />O ORDINANCE NO. <br />11 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS <br />IN THE STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND - $1, 458. 48 <br />WHEREAS: Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption <br />of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more <br />money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of <br />City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies: <br />SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government <br />and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1961, the <br />following sum of money is hereby appropriated and set apart <br />out of the fund herein named and for the purpose herein speci- <br />fied, subject to the laws governing the same, and such sum <br />herein appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures <br />authorized to be made during the year, unless otherwise ex- <br />pressly stipulated and provided by law. <br />SECTION II. That for said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated out of the <br />City Fund hereinafter named, the following specified amount to <br />meet such extraordinary emergencies, as follows: <br />STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND <br />Account No. S -261 - Medical, Surgical & Dental $ 1,000,00 <br />Account No. S -59 - Social Security $ 458. 48 <br />Total $ 1,458.48 <br />SECTION III. WHEREAS: It has been shown that certain existing appropriation <br />now has an unobligated balance which will not be needed for the <br />purpose herein for which appropriated, it is therefore, further <br />ordained by the aforesaid Common Council that such unnecessary <br />existing appropriation is now reduced in the amount as follows: <br />STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND <br />Account No. S -13 - Extra and Overtime $ 1,000.00 <br />Account No. S -11 - Services Personal $ 458.48 <br />Total $ 1,458.48 <br />SECTION IV.
