COLFAX AVENUE, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />May 11, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />COMMISSION <br />• FRANK 1. ERUGGNER, MAYOR <br />The attached. proposed ordinance originated by the City <br />Planning Commission to zone "E" Heavy Industrial Use <br />and 'IF" Height and Area District the recently annexed . <br />land being generally described as a parcel of land 640 <br />feet east and west by 330 feet north and south bounded <br />on the west by Maple Road and on the north by the east - <br />west centerline of Section 27, T38N, R2E, also the present <br />city limits, was legally advertised under date of April 23, <br />1962 and. given public hearing on May 3, 1962. The fol- <br />lowing action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that the proposed zoning would be the most <br />logical zoning for the property in question <br />and that substantial justice would be done by <br />the granting of the petition.
