The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend. <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of Place and Company, Inc., et al, <br />to zone "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area Dis- <br />trict the recently annexed property being generally de- <br />scribed as a parcel of land 1,195 feet east and west by <br />556.45 feet north and south at the southwest corner of <br />Ireland and Miami Roads excepting therefrom the following:. <br />To be zoned "C" Commercial Use and "A" Height and Area <br />District the property generally described as a parcel of <br />land 450 feet east and west by 350 feet north and south <br />at the southwest corner of Ireland and Miami Roads; and <br />also to be zoned "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and <br />Area District the property generally described as a par- <br />cel of land 286.3 feet east and west by 230.45 feet north <br />and south bounded on the north by Ireland Road and. lying <br />450 feet west of Miami Road was legally advertised under <br />date of April 23, 1962 and given public hearing on May <br />3, 1962. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that the proposed zoning would be the most <br />logical for the area involved and that sub- <br />stantial justice would be done by the granting <br />of the petition.
