4-ILED N MAR ;st & 2nd READM 'WrUITEE OF T F�10 HEARING 3rd READING NOT A;PROVED R£FE.RYSD PACED , j A Wit'- NO. 4465 - - -62 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1: That the following described property in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought within the City of South Bend, Indiana: Beginning at a point that is 660 feet North and 1430.6 feet East of the South West corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, said point being on the existing North City Limits line of South Bend, Indiana; thence Easterly parallel with the East West Center- line of said Section 27, along the said North City Limits Line approximately 600 feet; thence continuing Easterly on the North City Limits line projected East approximately 855 feet to a point 5 feet West of the West Right -of -Way line of Portage Road; thence Northwesterly along a line 5 feet West and parallel with the West Right -of -way line of Portage Road to the Southerly Right -o£ -way line of the Indiana East West Toll Road; thence Westerly along said Southerly Right -of -way line of the Indiana East West Toll Road to a point 15 feet East of the East Right -of -way line of Maple Road; thence South along a line 15 feet East and parallel with the East Right -of -way line of Maple Road to a point 660 feet North of the East -West Centerline of said Section 27; thence Easterly parallel with said East West Centerline to the point of beginning.
