DE PLANNING <br />The attached. petition of the Common Council to annex to <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana a ian lar shaped par- <br />cel of land generally described as being bounded on the <br />east by the east right -of -way line of the Pennsylvania <br />Railroad, on the north by the present city limits which <br />is 200 feet south of Chippewa Avenue, and on the west <br />by a line extended north from the intersection of the <br />east right -of -way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and <br />the north right -of -way line of Ireland Road, said parcel <br />containing 38.9 acres, more or less, was legally adver- <br />tised under date of March 26, 1962 and given ptb tic <br />hearing on April 5, 1962. The following action was <br />taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that the six determinants of annexation exist. <br />It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and <br />unanimously carried that the petition be recom- <br />mended favorably to the Council. <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY P NNING COMMISSION <br />obert L.
