Total Chromium 7.5 3:8 <br />Total Copper 1.6 8-8 <br />Total Cyanide 1.5 9~ <br />Total Lead 1.9 ~9 <br />Total Mercury 0.1 &8-5 <br />Total Nickel 1.9 8-8 <br />Total Silver 1.8 9:9 <br />Total Zinc 3.4 <br />All units mg/1. <br />(10) Any radioactive wastes or isotopes of such half-life or concentration as may exceed <br />limits established by the Board in compliance with applicable State or Federal regulations. <br />(11) Any water or waste containing total oil and grease (biodegradable animal and <br />vegetable fats, oil, waxes and greases and non-biodegradable hydrocarbon oils and greases), <br />whether emulsified or not, in excess of three hundred (300) mg/1 daily maximum containing <br />substances which may solidify or become viscous at temperatures between thirty-two (32) <br />and one hundred fifty (150) degrees Fahrenheit or zero (0) and sixty-five (65) degrees <br />Celsius, however, the hydrocarbon portion of the total oil and grease concentration may not <br />exceed one hundred (100) mg/1. Proper testing procedures shall be outlined in each <br />industry's discharge permit. <br />(12) Any garbage that has not been properly shredded. The installation and operation of <br />any garbage grinder equipped with a motor ofthree-fourths-horsepower (0.76 hp metric) or <br />greater shall be subject to the review and approval of the Board. <br />(13) Any waters or wastes containing strong acid iron pickling wastes or concentrated <br />plating solutions whether neutralized or not. <br />(14) Any waters or wastes containing iron, chromium, copper, zinc and similar <br />objectionable or toxic substances; or wastes exerting an excessive chlorine requirement, to <br />such degree that any such material received in the composite sewage at the sewage treatment <br />works exceeds the limits established by the Director for such materials. <br />(15) Any waters or wastes containing phenols or other taste- or odor-producing <br />substances, in such concentrations exceeding limits which may be established by the Board <br />as necessary, after treatment of the composite sewage, to meet the requirement of the State, <br />Federal or other public agencies of jurisdiction for such discharge to the receiving waters. <br />(16) Any waters or wastes having a pH in excess of ~$-~ 11.0. Notwithstanding this <br />provision, New Energy Corp., shall be authorized to discharge at a pH not to exceed 12 in <br />keeping with its odor abatement efforts. <br />3 <br />
