April 8, 1963 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the City Planning Commission <br />to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "B" Height and <br />Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height <br />and Area District Lots 201 -206 inclusive of Brentwood <br />Estates 5th Addition and Lots 1, 2, 3 also Lots 26 -35 <br />inclusive and Lots 49 -55 inclusive and Lots 65 and 66 <br />inclusive of Alwards Addition and Lots 13 -24 inclusive <br />and Lots 31 -46 inclusive of Vogt's lst Addition being <br />more generally described as being bounded on the east <br />by the first north -south alley west of Bendix Drive, <br />on the west by Ryer Street, on the north by Lincoln <br />Way West and on the south by Ardmore Trail (Crumstown <br />Avenue) was legally advertised under date of March <br />25, 1963 and given public hearing under date of April <br />42 1963. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that the best zoning for the subject property <br />would be "A" Residential. It was therefore <br />duly moved, seconddd, and unanimously carried <br />that the petition be recommended favorably to <br />the Council <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY pPLANfNING COMMISSION <br />Robert L.
