PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TEE AbNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY Or SOUTH BEND, INDIANA BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the following described territory in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall constitute here- after a part of the City of South Bend, Indiana: A tract of land situated in the North Half of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East, described as beginning at a point on the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 31, 250 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence East 215 feet; thence South 150 feet; thence West 50 feet; thence :south 1890 feet along a line parallel and 165 feet East of the West line of said Northeast Quarter Section; thence West 775 feet; thence North 152.5 feet; thence West 735 feet more or less to the East line of Crest Manor Subdivision's 3rd Addition; thence North along the East line of said Subdivision 900 feet; thence East 1345 feet more or less to the West line of the Northeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East; thence North along the West line of said Quarter Section 987.5 feet to the place of beginning. SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, approval by the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and legal publication.
