October 7, 1963 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to <br />rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area <br />District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area <br />District the property gener&lly bounded on the east by <br />the first north -south alley east of Kentucky Street, on <br />the west by the first north -south alley west of Falcon <br />Street, on the north by the first east -west alley south <br />of Western Avenue, and on the south by the first east - <br />west alley north of Sample Street.was legally advertised <br />under date of September 23, 1963 and given public hearing <br />on October 3, 1963. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that the proposed change would bein the best <br />of the subject area.
