A., <br />September 12, 1963 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the Belleville Investment Company <br />Inc. to rezone from "B" Residential Use and 'IB" Height and <br />Area District to "C" Commercial Use and "E" Height and Area <br />the property being generally described as bounded on the <br />west by a north —south line 420 feet, more or less, east of <br />Summit Drive, on the west by Summit Drive, on the north <br />by a property line 332 feet, more or less, south of Western <br />Avenue, and on the south by a property line north of Ford <br />Street was legally advertised under date of August 26, 1963 <br />and given public hearing on September 5, 1963. The following <br />action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />thUt the requested zoning was the most reasonable <br />for the subject area.
