A., September 12, 1963 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the Belleville Investment Company Inc. to rezone from "B" Residential Use and 'IB" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial Use and "E" Height and Area the property being generally described as bounded on the west by a north —south line 420 feet, more or less, east of Summit Drive, on the west by Summit Drive, on the north by a property line 332 feet, more or less, south of Western Avenue, and on the south by a property line north of Ford Street was legally advertised under date of August 26, 1963 and given public hearing on September 5, 1963. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found thUt the requested zoning was the most reasonable for the subject area. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council.
