ORDINANCE NO. 4586 -63 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - $265.00 ( AS AMENDED ) <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption <br />of the existing annual budget, so ?that it is now necessary to appropriate <br />more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions <br />of City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies: <br />SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City <br />Government and its institutions for the year ending December <br />31, 1963, the following sums of money are hereby appropriated <br />and set apart out of the several funds herein named and for <br />the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing <br />the same, and such sums herein appropriated shall be held to <br />include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, <br />unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by law. <br />SECTION II. That for said fiscal year, there is hereby appropriated out <br />of the various City funds, hereinafter named, the following <br />specified amount to meet such extraordinary emergencies, <br />as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT <br />ACCOUNT NO. MB 323 - Tires and Tubes $265.00 <br />SECTION III. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations <br />now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the <br />purposes herein for which appropriated, it is therefore, further <br />ordained by the aforesaid Common Council that such unnecessary <br />existing appropriations are now reduced in amounts as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT <br />ACCOUNT NO. NB 722 - Motor Equipment $265.00 <br />SECTION IV. This Ordinance shall be in;full force and effect from and after <br />its passage by the Common Council, its approval by ;the Mayor <br />and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency <br />appropriations. <br />/s/ Joseph T.
