CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
129 W. COLFAX AVENUE, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA P)"yM Kttjx(;0XM MAYOR
Lloyd M. Allen
CPC
January 9, 1964
The Honorable Common Council
City of South Bend
South Bend, Indiana
Gentlemen:
J. FRANK MILES, PRESIDENT
GALEN B. SARGENT, mceencnocNT
RAYMOND G. DRYS AK
RICHARD OWSKI
YNSKI
RICHARD VAN PARIS
WILLIAM WCBCTCR
ROY A. WOADN
The attached petition of Annette and Eugene White, et al,
to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "C" Commercial Use and "E" Height and Area
District Lots 94, 95 and 96 of Plat of Fordham, being more
generally described as being bounded on the north by
Mishawaka Avenue, on the east by 33rd Street, on the south
by the first east —west alley south of Mishawaka Avenue and
on the west by the first north —south alley west of 33rd
Street was legally advertised under date of November 30,
1963 and given public hearing on December 10, 1963. The
following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning is a logical extension
of existing commercial zoning and would be in
keeping with the spirit and intent of the
Zoning Ordinance and Future Land Use Plan. It
was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
Very truly yours,
Robert L. Huff,
Director of Planning
RLH /cf
attach.
