ORDINANCE NO. 482k-65 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $38,579.82 BY THE WATER WORI(S OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR THE PURCHASE OF MOTORIZED VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1966. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the Water Works of the City of South Bend is hereby authorized to enter into separate contracts for the pur- chase during the calendar year 1966, pursuant to advertising and the receipt of bids, of the following motorized vehicles and equipment, as the purchase of said units is required in the operation of the Water Works, at a total east not to exceed the amount of $38,579.82 and at a per unit cost of not to exceed the cost itemized for each unit, and the execution of said con- tracts pursuant to the terms of this ordinance is hereby approved: 1 4 -wheel drive 3/4 ton pickup truck $ 2,279.82 2 Panel body 1/2 ton trucks 3,300.00 1 2 -door passenger car 2,000.00 2(1/2 ton pick -up trucks 3,000.00 1 5/8 cubic yard hydraulic baekhoe mounted on crawler 18,000_.00 $38,579.82 SECTION II.
