No. 4822 -65 <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SPEED OF TRAINS <br />WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL CITY AND FORBIDDING THE <br />SOUNDING OF A RAILROAD LOCOMOTIVE WHISTLE OR <br />RAILROAD LOCOMOTIVE HORN WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL <br />CITY AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />THEREWITH.' <br />Be it ordained by the Common Council of the Municipal <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />1. Any ordinances in conflict with the following are <br />hereby repealed and specifically repealed are sections designated <br />as 31 -2 and 31 -8 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, 1962. In lieu thereof, the following are enacted. <br />2. No railroad or electric train company or person <br />shall run or cause to be run any train with or without cars <br />within the City at a greater sate of speed than twenty miles <br />per hour. <br />3.
