Ordinance No. 3702, as amended, which <br />ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order <br />that the zoning classification of the following described real <br />estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of <br />Indiana: <br />A lot or parcel of land containing 75 acres, taken <br />off of and from the entire length of the North side <br />of North West quarter of Section No. 31, Township <br />No. 37 North,, Range No. 3 East, excepting therefrom <br />the following tracts: <br />(1) Beginning at the North East corner of said <br />quarter Section, thence running West a distance <br />of 826 feet; thence South 866.5 feet; thence East <br />226.19 feet; thence South 371 feet; thence East <br />602 feet to the East line of said quarter Section; <br />thence North along the East line of said quarter <br />Section 1237.5 feet to the place of beginning, also <br />(2) The North 495 feet of said North West quarter <br />of said Section No. 31, Township No. 37 North, <br />Range No. 3 East; also <br />(3) Part of the North Half (z) of the Northwest <br />Quarter (14) of Section 31, Township 37 North, <br />Range 3 East, formed by a line running as follows, <br />to -wit: Beginning at a point that is on the West <br />line of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 <br />East and 495 feet South of the Northwest corner of <br />said Section 31; thence continuing South along the <br />West line of Section 31 for a distance of 266 feet; <br />thence East parallel to the North line of said <br />3_6141 Section 31 for a distance of 429 feet; thence North <br />parallel to the West line of said section for a <br />distance of 266 feet; thence West for a distance <br />of 429 feet to the point of beginning.
