(91 1 Marietta) <br />Mr. Mathia noted that the Commission <br />acquired the land for the Park Dc par[mrnt~s <br />~~~ater park in the Southeast Neighborhood. <br />A triangle area ~~~est of~the park contains a <br />mix of substandm~d houses and non- <br />conforming uses. We have been acquiring <br />land in that area as ~~~e have opportunity for <br />the purpose of renun~ing the non-conforming <br />uses and substandard housin~~ and f2~r future <br />expansion of the park. I~he properrty in that <br />triangle ~a~as added to the AGDA acquisition <br />list fair that pwpose and the Commission has <br />been acquiring it as it has opportunity. "hhis <br />property has just been put on the market as <br />part of a settlement fr~r Medicaid at 51 1.900. <br />We ~a~ould like acquire it before someone e{se <br />does. Resolution No. 207 sets the offering <br />price f~~r 91 I Marietta at 547,840_ the <br />a~cra~~e of ri~~o a~~praisals as is required by <br />law. Ho~~~ever. we expect to be able to <br />purchase it for S 1 L900. This is a nuisance <br />propa-t_y that needs to be demolished. Sta11~ <br />
