ZONING 8~ ANNEXATION COMMITTEE AUGUST 25, 2008 <br />Committee Members Present: Councilmember's AI "Buddy" Kirsits, Chairperson; Thomas <br />LaFountain; David Varner <br />Councilmember's Present: Ann Puzzello <br />Others Present: Rita Kopala, Jaime Loo, Don Inks, Mark Lyons, Alvena Harris, Mary Ann Cain, <br />Rob Martin, Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, John Voorde <br />Chairperson Kirsits called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. <br />BILL NO.08-69 -SPECIAL EXCEPTION FOR ACCESSORY PARKING LOT AT 1129 N. ST. <br />LOUIS <br />Chairperson Kirsits opened the meeting by asking Mark Lyons of the Building Department for a <br />BZA report. Mark stated that the BZA gave a unanimous favorable recommendation to Council. <br />Mr. Rob Martin of the Barr Design Group representing the petitioner testified the lot would not be <br />used for football weekend parking allaying any concerns of the neighbors who may have <br />wondered. <br />Alvena Harris and Mary Ann Cain both parishioners of the petitioning church spoke in favor of the <br />exception. <br />On a motion by Councilmember Tom Lafountain, seconded by Councilmember Varner the bill is <br />sent to Council with a favorable recommendation. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee, Chairperson Kirsits adjourned <br />the meeting at 3:09 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />~I ~r ~ <br />AI "Buddy" Kirsits, Chairperson <br />Zoning and Annexation Committee <br />
