February 17, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to rezone "from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "A -1" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property being generally described as bounded on the East by Leer Street, on the West by the first north -south alley West of Marine Street and Mumford Court, on the North by Indiana Avenue, and on the South by the rear lot line of lots fronting on the North right - of -way line of Bowman Street was legally advertised under date of January 25, 1965 and given public hearing on February 4, 1965. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zone change would be in the best interest of the subject property.
