February 17, 1965 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to <br />rezone "from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area <br />District to "A -1" Residential Use and "A" Height and <br />Area District the property being generally described as <br />bounded on the East by Leer Street, on the West by the <br />first north -south alley West of Marine Street and Mumford <br />Court, on the North by Indiana Avenue, and on the South <br />by the rear lot line of lots fronting on the North right - <br />of -way line of Bowman Street was legally advertised under <br />date of January 25, 1965 and given public hearing on <br />February 4, 1965. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found <br />that the proposed zone change would be in the <br />best interest of the subject property. It was <br />therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously <br />carried that the petition be recommended favorably <br />to the Council. <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Robert L.
