ORDINANCE NO. 417 0— T4',-6i <br />FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br />��1 AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN <br />Ji=.lY I v iH l GENERAL PARK FUND FOR. 25,500.00. <br />KATHRYN L. SLOUGH <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IN, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br />the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary <br />to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for <br />the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary <br />emergencies: <br />SECTION I: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, that for the expenses of the City Government and <br />its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1965, the following sum <br />of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund herein <br />named for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing <br />the same, and such sum herein appropriated shall be held to include all <br />expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless otherwise <br />expressly stipulated and provided by law. <br />SECTION II: That for said fiscal year there is hereby appropri- <br />ated out of the General Park Fund the amount of $25,500.00, <br />SECTION III: That the account numbered 73 in the classification <br />of Properties for the purchase of land be increased in the amount of <br />$25,500.00., <br />SECTION IV. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain land has <br />been sold in the year 1961 for the amount of $20,500.00, and that the sum <br />of $5,000.00 was provided in the 1964 Park Department Budget for the <br />purchase of land, and further that both of said sums were unexpended as of <br />December 31, 1964, and are in the General Park Fund. <br />IT IS THEREFORE, ORDAINED BY THE AFORESAID COMMON COUNCIL that <br />the said General Park Fund be reduced in the said total of $25,500.00 and <br />that account numbered 73, Land be increased in the amount of $25,500.00 <br />SECTION U: ,This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the <br />Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency <br />/approp-i � Signs . <br />ff THE Mm //"7 <br />Member of the South Bend C mmon Council <br />NOT <br />f� %F <br />
