Indiana (the ~~Cit~~~~). ~~-hich property is more particularly <br />described at Exhibit .~ attached hereto and incorporated herein ("Propert~~~~): and <br />Vb'HEREAS, on June 13. 200H, the Commission adopted Resolution '~o. ?455 <br />amending the Plan and adding the Propca~ty to the Areas acquisition list: and <br />V1%llEREAS, ri~o (2) independent appraisals of the Property ha~~e been obtained <br />in accordance with ]ndiana Code ~ ~6-7-14-19(b). which provide an offering price of <br />S3;.5UO.OU (lhc "Oi~icrin~~ Price~~): and <br />Vb'1[GREAS, the Commission no~~~ desires to authorize its authorized agents, <br />hired tier such purposes. or the staff of the Commission to pro~~ide and negotiate an otter <br />for the Purchase of the Property in accordance with Indiana Codc ~ 36-7-14 19. ~~-hich <br />may include relocation costs and the Conunission~s payment of expenses incidental to the <br />comevance mid determination ofthe title ofthe Property: and <br />WHEREAS, the Conunissio^ tinds that all procalmes necessarv t~>r <br />authorizing and acquirin~a the Property ha~~c been completed in accordance ~~~ith Indiana <br />law: <br />NO~~, THEREFORE, 6E IT RESOLVED by the South Bcnd <br />Rcde~~elopment Commission that: <br />I . Authorized agents of the Commission and the staff of the Commission arc <br />hereby authorized and directed to cause a pw~chase oflcr to be made in ~i~riting to the <br />ow~ncr(s) of the Property a described at Exhibit A at the Ofifcrin<~ Price (the -'A~crage <br />Acquisition Price~~ in I~:xhihit A) in accordance ~~ ith lndiana Code ~ 36 7 14 19. ~~~hich <br />offer or process may include relocation costs and the payment of espalses incidental to <br />the eon~cyance and determination oCthe title of the Property. <br />?.
