NO. 4796 -65 ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE SERVICES - CONTRACTUAL ACCOUNT OF THE FIRE DEPART- MENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,500.00 AND THE TRANS- FER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND. WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and WHEREAS, Additional Services - Contractual, Medical Services are urgently needed by the Fire Department to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $1,500.00 is needed forthwith; and WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more specifically as follows, to -wit: 1. One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) Q -11 designated as Services - Personal, Salary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $1,500.00 be transferred from Account Q -11 designated as Services - Personal, Salary, by transferring it to the following account, to -wit: 2. One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) to Account Q -262 designated as Services - Contractual, Medical.
