ORDINANCE NO. 4793 -65 ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE SUPPLIES ACCOUNT OF THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,335.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND. WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and WHEREAS, Additional supplies are urgently needed by the Electrical Department to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $1,335.00 is needed forthwith; and WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more specifically as follows, to -wit: 1. One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Five Dollars ($1,335.00) V -11 designated as Services - Personal, Salary. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $1,335.00 be transferred from Account V -11 designated as Services - Personal, Salary, by transferring it to the following account, to -wit: 2. One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Five Dollars ($1,335.00) to Account V -37 designated as Supplies, Other Supplies. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
