REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 25, 2008 n , I 0 _ A Custom & Moore Tree Experts, Inc., Granger. Indiana Granger, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, New York, New York Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommends that the following Contractor and Excavation Bonds be ratified pursuant to Resolution 100-2000 and/or released as follows: Business and Type Approved/ Released Effective Date Wayne Barrier Contractor Approved August 14, 2008 DNA Concrete, Inc. Contractor Approved August 12, 2008 Do All Contractors Contractor Approved August 11, 2008 K&K Earthmoving, Inc. Contractor Released August 9, 2008 Eric Frye d/b/a Elf Excavating Excavation Approved August 12, 2008 Mr. Littrell made a motion that the Bonds approval and/or release as outlined above be ratified, Mr. Inks seconded the motion, which carried. APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Inks stated that a request to pay the following claims in the amounts indicated has been received by the Board-, each claim is fully supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Name Amount of Claim Date St. Joseph County Housing Consortium $36,874.15 August 12, 2008 -City of South Bend $2,480,578.84 August 25, 2008 Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be approved as submitted. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion, which carried, ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:53 a.m. Gary A.
