ORDINANCE N0. — Gc5 —BEING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. J(02, AS AMENDED, COM- <br />MONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />" OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 3702, as amended, which ordi- <br />nance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order <br />that the zoning classification of the following described real es- <br />tate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: <br />A portion of the South half of the Southwest quarter and <br />a portion of the South half of the Southeast quarter of <br />Section 353 Township 38 North, Range 2 East and a part of <br />the City of South Bend, Portage Township, St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point which is the point of intersection <br />of the centerline extended of the alley North of Kinyon <br />Street with the center line of Riverside Drive, said point <br />of beginning being One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty and <br />Sixty -Seven Hundredths (1330.67) feet East of the center- <br />line of Sherman Street; thence Westerly along and with <br />the North line of the South half of the Southeast quarter <br />of Section 35, a distance of One Thousand Three Hundred <br />and Sixty -seven Hundredths (1300.67) feet to the point of <br />intersection with the Easterly right -of -way line of Sherman <br />Street; thence Southerly along and with the East right -of- <br />way line of Sherman Street a distance of Five Hundred <br />Twenty -three and Five Tenths (523.5) feet to the South <br />right -of -way line of Queen Street; thence Westerly along <br />and with the South right -of -way line of Queen Street a <br />distance of Two Hundred Six (206) feet; thence Southerly <br />along a line parallel to the East right -of -way line of <br />Sherman Street a distance of Three Hundred Sixty -Four and <br />Ninety -two Hundredths (364.92) feet; thence Easterly along <br />a line parallel to the South right -of -way line of Queen <br />Street a distance of Five Hundred Eighteen and Sixty -four <br />Hundredths (518.64) feet to the centerline of Riverside <br />Drive; thence Northeasterly along and with the centerline <br />of Riverside Drive to the point of beginning; excepting <br />from the above described tract of land the following: <br />A parcel of land beginning at a point which is the point <br />of intersection of the centerline extended of the alley <br />North of Kinyon Street with the centerline of Riverside <br />Drive, said point of beginning being One Thousand Three <br />Hundred Thirty and Sixty -seven Hundredths (1330.67) feet <br />East of the centerline of Sherman Street; thence Westerly <br />along and with the North line of the South half of the <br />Southeast quarter of Section 35, a distance of One Thous- <br />and Twenty (1020) feet; thence Southeasterly along a line <br />with a deflection angle of One Hundred Twenty -four Degrees, <br />Forty Minutes Left (124040'L) a distance of Six Hundred <br />Twenty (620) feet, more or less, to the point of intersec- <br />tion with the centerline of Riverside Drive; thence North - <br />easterly along and with the centerline of Riverside Drive <br />to the point of beginning, also <br />
