He noted the bid calls for twenty (20) linear feet and they bid $300.00 per foot. <br />That would be $6,000.00, not $6,300.00 as they have written. Ms, Greene stated the bid review <br />team should review this along with everything else to confirm the bid is correct and responsible <br />and responsive. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Henthorn and carried, the <br />above bids were referred to the Streets and Sewers Departments for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS — 2014 STREET AND SEWER MATERIALS — PROJECT NO. 114 -004 <br />MVH /SEWER OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project, <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News, which were found to be sufficient. Ms. Greene stated she was contacted by Linda <br />Martin, Clerk of the Board, yesterday, and told that in the bid specifications there was included a <br />paragraph that is used normally for vehicle bids and states each item bid should be submitted in a <br />separate envelope. Ms. Greene noted this should not have been included in this bid and it is at the <br />Board's discrepancy to waive the irregularity if they choose. She noted in this case, she wouldn't <br />expect over one- hundred (100) items to be bid on in separate envelopes. Ms. Greene stated that <br />due to the number of individual items, she would read only the names of the bidders into the <br />
