ORDINANCE NO..`� <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AWARDING <br />OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND <br />CITY WATER WORKS TO INTERNATIONAL <br />BUSINESS MACHINES � CORPORATION FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF TWO 6400 MAGNETIC <br />COMPUTING ACCOUNTING MACHINES IN THE <br />SUM OF $77,790.00. <br />WHEREAS, International Bust *ess Machines, Corporation has <br />tendered to the South Bend City Water Works its bid for the sale <br />of two 6400 Magnetic Computing Accounting Machines in the sun of <br />Seventy -seven thousand seven - hundred ninety ($77,790.00) Dollars <br />to the South Bend City Water Works which bid was accepted by the <br />Board of Water Works Commissioners of the City of South Bend, <br />December 8, 1964. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SO`.TH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the.entry into a contract between the South <br />Bend City Water Works and the International Business Machines, <br />Corporation for the purchase of two 6400 Magnetic Computing <br />Accounting Machines in the sun of Seventy -seven thousand seven - <br />hundred ninety ($77.790.00) Dollars is hereby approved. <br />SECTION II.
