AN T CITY OF SOUTH BEND ORDINANCE NO. zZ2,2_ AND ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ACTING BY AND THROUGH ITS BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE RATES CHARGED FOR BUS TRANSPORTATION SERVICE UPON CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS IN SAID CITY. WHEREAS, heretofore, to -wit: on the 14th day of December, 1964, the City of South Bend, Indiana, acting by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, entered into the following contract with Northern Indiana Transit, Inc.: CONTRACT THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this 14th day of December, 1964, by and between the CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, acting by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, hereinafter called the First Party, and NORTHERN INDIANA TRANSIT, INC., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Indiana, its successors and assigns, hereinafter called the Second Party, WITNESSETH: The parties hereto agree that the certain contract made be» tween the parties on or about May 13, 1940 and thereafter confirmed by Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, and as sub- sequently further amended and confirmed by Ordinances of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, and last amendment by contract dated February 23, 1962, and confirmed by Ordinanee of the said Council shall be and is hereby amended in each of the following respects: All provisions in said Contract, as amended, regarding cash and token fares shall be eliminated, and the following provisions shall be substituted in lieu thereof, to wit: kL°D KATHRYN L.
