UTILITIES COMMITTEE <br />The August 11, 2008 meeting of the Utilities Committee of the South Bend Common Council was <br />called to order by its Chairperson, Oliver J. Davis at 4:41 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting <br />Room. <br />Committee Members in attendance included Council Members Oliver J. Davis, AI "Buddy" Kirsits, <br />Ann Puzzello, Thomas LaFountain, Tim Hudak <br />Councilmember's Present: Timothy A. Rouse, Karen L. White, David Varner <br />Others present were: Gary Gilot, Rita Kopala, Kathy Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney, John <br />Voorde, City Clerk. <br />BILL N0.44-08 SOLID WASTE RATES <br />Chairperson Oliver J. Davis opened the hearing by reading a request from Catherine Fanello, City <br />Controller that this bill be continued until August 25, 2008. (See Attachment) <br />Upon a motion by Councilmember Tom LaFountain, seconded by Councilmember Ann Puzzello <br />and supported without objection, Bill No. 44-08 was continued. . <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee, Councilmember Oliver J. Davis <br />adjourned the meeting at 4:44 p.m. <br />
