ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE SERVICES - CONTRACTUAL AND PROPERTY ACCOUNTS OF THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,115.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT. WHERAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and. WHEREAS, Additional utility and repair services and radio equip- ment needed by the Electrical Department to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $1,115.00 is needed forth- with; and WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this time; and more specifically as follows, to -wit: 1. One Thousand One Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($1,115.00) V -11 des- ignated as Services - Personal, Salary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $1,115.00 be transferred from Account No. V -11 designated as Services - Personal, Salary, by transferring it to the following accounts to -wit: A. $465.00 to Account V -214 designated as Services - Contractual, Telephone and Telegraph; B. $350.00 to Account V -251 designated as Services - Contractual, Repairs of Buildings and Structures; and C. $300.00 to Account V -723 designated as Properties, Radio Equipment (2 -way Radios) This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor. 4er of the Common Council let & Zed REAM S .;L (.o OO14MEE OF THE 010111 �`- PURLIO HEARING 3rd READING NOT APPROVED REFERRED PASSED '�G%tio
